'A wizard, haunted by visions of a terrible future, must travel the world and take on a mighty enemy who can reach into the very minds of men.'

Deception of the Mind's Eye was originally designed as a two-part adventure for the ZX Spectrum 128K home computer in 1992/93 but never released.

The files for this game were recovered in 2010. This version contains the fully playable and complete first half of the game. Part two of the game was written and designed but never fully programmed. A "demo" version has been included which contains the initial first few sections of the second installment of the story.

New for 2019! There's now a version of the first part of the game available for the Amstrad CPC 6128. This version requires CP/M+ (CP/M 3.0) and was created by extracting the Spectrum 128K database, using Inpawspager by thEpOpE, and using inPAWs to generate a version for CP/M PAWs.

Also new for 2019! The CP/M+ has been ported to Infinite Imaginations' DAAD, using Stefan Vogt's ANTUR transcompiler. Part one of the game is now available for Atari ST, Amiga, and PC (DOS).
