Message 1 ^{7}Outside you notice he has not taken the crystal. Phew!... Message 2 You hear a strange voice shout the words... Message 3 {16}{5}which is supported by two bars, Message 4 {16}{5}which hangs limply from one bar, Message 5 {16}{5} is a small sign which reads '{16}{3}{19}{1}DTH gang now on Level 2 due to memory restrictions and bone idleness of designer{19}{0}{16}{5}'. Exits are west and south, while to the east lies the back of the stall. Message 6 It is an empty vodka bottle. Message 7 It is full of water. Message 8 You can't swim! Message 9 Croak! Message 10 The harp is made up of {16}{4}green{16}{6} laser beams and a plastic framework and bears the words ^{7}'{16}{3}{19}{1}Made in Japan{16}{6}{19}{0}' on one corner. Message 11 It is a tatty black torch with a compartment for a battery at one end. It is Message 12 off. Message 13 on. Message 14 It is about 4 foot long and slightly bent. Message 15 They are {16}{4}green{16}{6} and bear a small international safety sticker proclaiming them '{16}{3}{19}{1}fire ^{7}resistant{16}{6}{19}{0}'. Message 16 There are hundreds of car keys on this key-ring Message 17 At first glance it appears to be a gold brick, but closer examination reveals it to be actually made of lead. Message 18 A very expensive one! Message 19 An ordinary match. Message 20 It is part of the cello that is used to keep the strings taut and in position. Message 21 Although it looks like a cross between a pressure gauge and an optical instrument, it's actually very useful. Message 22 Covered in shiny cloth with flowery patterns woven in it. Message 23 The bag of coffee is marked with the brand '{16}{3}{19}{1}Yuk!{16}{6}{19}{0}' and carries the slogan, '{16}{3}{19}{1}So bad you'd even give your mother-in-law some!{16}{6}{19}{0}'. Message 24 It is a bottle of poison.^{7}Note:- It's not to be confused with the perfume of the same name, this stuff is nowhere near as deadly. Message 25 They're large, yellow, waterproof and a small sticker reading '{16}{3}{19}{1}Size 24{19}{0}{16}{6}' is on the sole. Message 26 It bears the logo of the slightly deaf bank - a Sphinx with a hearing aid. Message 27 An ordinary dart, of the type that Jocky Wilson would play with. Message 28 It is a medium-sized battery marked with the words '{16}{3}{19}{1}Never Ready - Gold Seal{19}{0}{16}{6}'. The seal in question is also displayed on the battery balancing a ball on it's nose. Message 29 I could tell you tales of the crystal of Klatatacataca. Of how it was stolen by the evil prince of the realm of shadows and lost forever, but I'd be making it up and it isn't even the same crystal. No, this is the crystal of Klatacatacataca - an entirely different matter altogether. Message 30 Not here! You don't want it to run off. Message 31 A laddered pair of tights are hanging down from the window. Message 32 Message 33 You climb, puffing and panting, over the counter... Message 34 Water is running steadily down from the roof through this pipe here. Message 35 The main poster reads '{16}{3}{19}{1}Sinklair Microfair this week{16}{6}{19}{0}' while smaller ones read '{16}{3}{19}{1}World Of Music Exhibition{16}{6}{19}{0}'. Message 36 Blocking the doorway is a guard who is swinging his truncheon in a pretty mean fashion. Message 37 The tramp sees you and says,^{7}"{16}{4}{19}{1}Give us a fiver for a bit of grub, mate.{16}{6}{19}{0}". Hmm, the chances of him actually spending it on food is probably less than the chance of old Saddam getting the Nobel Peace Prize. Message 38 He's wearing gloves and is playing the harp by putting his hands through the lasers. Message 39 It can easily be seen just how far away from reality this game is when I tell you that the telephone is actually in working condition. Message 40 There is a sign posted to it that reads, '{16}{3}{19}{1}I'm not asleep - I'm dead, you prat!{16}{6}{19}{0}' Message 41 He is bearded and answers to the name of Myke Gerrald, which should hopefully prevent any chances of a lawsuit. Message 42 He sees you and says, "{16}{4}{19}{1}Now what did Delbert say I had to tell you?{16}{6}{19}{0}", he refers to a bit of paper. "{16}{4}{19}{1}Oh yes, I can't go on holiday...{16}{6}{19}{0}" he reads, ^{7}"{16}{4}{19}{1}..because I've not got enough money.{16}{6}{19}{0}" He looks at you, "{16}{4}{19}{1}I think that's a hint!{16}{6}{19}{0}" Message 43 Message 44 One appears to be loose. Message 45 The door has numbers on it. Message 46 '{16}{3}{19}{1}03698{16}{6}{19}{0}'. Message 47 You find a gold brick. Message 48 The type you'd make if a fireman squirted you with water. Message 49 There is a calculator on the podium. Message 50 There is a football match between {16}{2}{19}{1}Liverpool{16}{6}{19}{0} and {16}{5}Everton{16}{6} on TV. Message 51 It looks like some vandal has thrown a brick through the screen. Message 52 A very large violin. Message 53 Holding up the strings you see a bridge. Message 54 It has two large cups and a slot above them. Message 55 Looks as though that's where you fill it with coffee etc. Message 56 You examine the console. A large button catches your eye and a screen beside it lights up with the words '{16}{3}{19}{1}Do not press{19}{0}{16}{6}{1}'. Being an average adventurer of zero intelligence you press the button and receive an electric shock for your troubles. The console's screen now reads^{7}'{16}{3}{19}{1}Gotcha!{1}{16}{6}{19}{0}'. Message 57 He seems to be occupied with computing a course. He sees you and says, "{16}{4}{19}{1}You don't know anything about tri-complex numbers in 3D space, do you? No, I didn't think you did.{16}{6}{19}{0}". He's obviously stuck. Message 58 It's empty, the local health authority declared this off limits ages ago. Behind the counter lies the kitchen. Message 59 Covered in dust and grime. It has a door on the front. Message 60 It's covered in health warnings and kept locked by a large chain and padlock. Message 61 He looks as though he isn't in possession of a full orchestra. Message 62 He is wearing bright yellow wellies. Message 63 He is asleep. Message 64 There is a deck of cards in the centre. Message 65 Attempting not to disturb the players you have a quick peek. In the middle of it is a credit card which you pocket. Message 66 A dart is transfixed in the centre of it. Message 67 It's full of water, even the Water Board couldn't mess that bit up! Message 68 Remarkably good workmanship. Message 69 It is a delux model with a bonnet and a boot. A large sticker proclaims it to be protected by a '{16}{3}{19}{1}Musisound{16}{6}{19}{0}' alarm system. Looking through the window you see some groceries on the back seat - that must make it a Larda! Message 70 Mainly cardboard cut outs! Message 71 It's dark! What else do you need to know?! Message 72 It consists mainly of water as these 'river' things tend to do - unless they're the Mersey, of course. Message 73 It's black with a very large lid on top of it. It is really another TARDIT in disguise, but I'm not meant to tell you that. Message 74 As you touch the body it vanishes. Message 75 Reading them could seriously damage your sanity. Message 76 It is {16}{3}{19}{1}purple{19}{0}{16}{6} and in a strange position well away from the book-shelf. Message 77 Well, it's sort of got a trunk, branches and leaves. Need I say more? Message 78 There is a large hexagonal indentation on the console and the instructions for use of the TARDIT are writtin in black on the console. Message 79 One problem - the instructions are written in black on black. Message 80 A machine cleverly designed to cause queues outside the bank as well as inside it! Message 81 They are huge monsters made of light wood and carried around by people wearing skeleton masks. Wierd! Message 82 They'd turn you into a nice barbecue if they hit you. Message 83 After several minutes the bottle is full. Message 84 With what? Message 85 You can't fill the bottle with that! Message 86 There's no reason to do that, so why bother? Message 87 That person is either not here, or doesn't want what you are offering. Message 88 He says, "{16}{4}{19}{1}Cheers, mate!{16}{6}{19}{0}", and presses a bit of paper into your hand. Message 89 ^{7}{16}{5}He hands you an empty bottle with a pleading look in his glazed eyes. Message 90 As you attempt to walk through the door you are pushed back by a gum-chewing security guard.^{7}"{16}{4}{19}{1}No pass, no entry!{16}{6}{19}{0}" he says and sort of smiles. Message 91 Message 92 It hops about croaking wildly. For a second nothing happens then the Frenchman sees it and legs it off north after it... Message 93 It's a tape of a game by that truly amazing software house...wait a minute, no it's not, I misread the inlay! It's a game from Delbert The Hamster. Message 94 The operator hangs up. Message 95 The operator doesn't understand and hangs up. Message 96 "{16}{4}Hello!{16}{6}" the operator replies. Message 97 She puts you through and you tell the man at the other end that there is a large fire at the microfair. Several minutes later you are amused to see a dragon rush past you, closely pursued by firemen with hoses. Message 98 The line is engaged at the moment. Message 99 She puts you through and you tell the man of shady goings on at the microfair. The police soon arrive and case the joint. Message 100 ^{7}{16}{6}A large policeman comes up to you.^{7}"{16}{4}{19}{1}Excuse me, sir.{16}{6}{19}{0}" he says, "{16}{4}{19}{1}but did you make the phone call to us?{16}{6}{19}{0}"^{7}"{16}{4}{19}{1}Why, yes officer!{16}{6}{19}{0}" you reply.^{7}"{16}{4}{19}{1}Hoax phone calls are illegal, sir. Apart from Myke Gerrald, whose been on our records for some time, I can see no other reason for concern here. You'll have to accompany me down to the station!{16}{6}{19}{0}"... Message 101 {16}{6}The ambulance soon turns up, and a large muscular woman gets out.^{7}"{16}{4}{19}{1}Ok, where's the injury?{16}{6}{19}{0}" she asks you.^{7}"{16}{4}{19}{1}Sorry, there isn't one!{16}{6}{19}{0}" you sheepishly reply.^{7}"{16}{4}{19}{1}Oh well, as I've got some time to kill...{16}{6}{19}{0}" she says,"{16}{4}{19}{1} you can come with us and have a routine body cavity search!{16}{6}{19}{0}". There's a glint in her eye as she puts on a rubber glove... Message 102 You remove the fob from the key-ring. Message 103 which consists of a small ring of metal with a round fob attached. Message 104 . Message 105 It is round and about the same size as a 10p coin. Message 106 You insert the fob and the screen prints up '{16}{7}CREDIT 10p{16}{6}". Message 107 You dial the number that was on the door, the phone rings several times and is answered by a woman with a very husky voice. She says "{16}{4}{19}{1}Baby Oil{16}{6}{19}{0}" and hangs up. Message 108 "{16}{4}{19}{1}For me?{16}{6}{19}{0}" he asks, and dashes off to the travel agents before you can change your mind. Message 109 You pull the bar and duck as the sign swings wildly round, narrowly missing your head. Message 110 They are full of water. Message 111 You manage to easily open up the door using the electronic screwdriver and go through...^{7} Message 112 It's locked! Message 113 Behind the curtains lies a door. Message 114 You wrench down the curtains and manage to remove bits of the ceiling at the same time. Message 115 The door to the north swings slowly open. Message 116 The smoke drifts around the room and the light beams protecting the calculator become visible. Message 117 They start to smoulder and produce lots of smoke. Message 118 ^{7}The curtains burn away.^{7} Message 119 Carefully avoiding the beams, you pick up the calculator. Message 120 As you reach for the calculator you break the light beams protecting it and set off the alarms. Before you know it security personnel have surrounded you and are taking you away. Message 121 You expertly throw the brick through the centre of the screen. I think you've had a bit of practice doing this, haven't you? Lying in the smouldering ruins of what was once a PANASONIC COLOUR TV with remote control and teletext is a match. Message 122 You haven't found out why yet! Message 123 With a loud twang the strings snap and you're left with a cut hand. You've got the bridge, though. Message 124 You hear a faint gurgle and whirr of machinery. Message 125 The two cups part and you find a door to the east displayed between them. Message 126 He takes it eagerly. "{16}{4}{19}{1}Thanks!{16}{6}{19}{0}" he says and gives you an electronic screwdriver. You attempt to answer him but are bustled out of the TARDIT and the cups go back together... Message 127 Inside you find some oven gloves. Message 128 It's closed. Message 129 The padlock and chain keep it shut. Message 130 The padlock flies off and the chain breaks. Message 131 Inside you find two bottles, one marked '{16}{3}{19}{1}poison{16}{6}{19}{0}' and the other ^{7}'{16}{3}{19}{1}coffee{16}{6}{19}{0}'. Don't get them confused though, because knowing the Bistro's reputation they're likely to taste the same. Message 132 You expertly play the harp and the haunting melody Message 133 You wince with pain as the lasers slice your hands off. You decide to forget all about the stupid game and go home... Message 134 soothes your ears. Message 135 sends the giant to sleep. Message 136 The giant doesn't like this and you find yourself embedded on the sole of his welly... Message 137 You snatch the wellies off the sleeping giant. Message 138 With reviewers! You've gotta be joking. Would you play with someone who cheated whenever your back was turned? No, and neither would they which is why they won't let you play. Message 139 Dipping the giant footwear into the water you manage to fill them. Message 140 Nothing in there, Skoda's don't have toes in their boots. Which is a bit silly as they're always breaking down! Message 141 Inside is the driving force of the vehicle - the battery. Message 142 You insert the battery into the torch. Message 143 For some reason it doesn't come on. Must be because there's no battery. Message 144 You switch the torch Message 145 I really don't know why I bother. You head off north blatantly disregarding the location description and find yourself in darkness. Being the coward that you are you quickly head back the way you came... Message 146 You creep through the dark tunnel and emerge on the other side... Message 147 You cross over the river using the bridge... Message 148 You lift the lid and climb into the teapot... Message 149 You climb back out of the TARDIT... Message 150 You do and see a small hole in the wall to the west. Message 151 You do and the console comes to life. You are flung to the floor as the machine dematerilizes with a shudder. Even British Rail is safer than this! The TARDIT continues like this for several minutes then lands... Message 152 {16}{4}{19}{1}Congratulations, that's level 1 out of the way. The password for level 2 is...^{7}^{7} {16}{7}"TO ERR IS HUMAN"^{7}^{7} Message 153 The machine comes to life and after you spend several hours saying that you don't want any statements, life insurance or free fluffy pigs, the machine delivers you a crisp 10 pound note. It keeps your card though, but don't they always? Message 154 You head east and find yourself face to face with a rather large dragon. He doesn't appear to be in a good mood but you don't think that's any excuse for the way he angrily spouts flames at you. However, you don't intend to stay and argue the point and quickly head back to the T-junction... Message 155 As you enter the location a tall man walks out of the shadows and into the light. He clutches his head in agony and levels what looks like a stubby cigarette lighter at you. He is dressed totally in black and he has a painted beard and cheshire-cat-like grin.^{7} Message 156 "{16}{4}{19}{1}I am the Dentist's mortal enemy.{16}{6}{19}{0}", he says, "{16}{4}{19}{1}...The Mistress!{16}{6}{19}{0}". He pauses and adds, "{16}{4}{19}{1}I nearly forgot... prepare to die, scumbag. This'll show Delbert not to use stupid names.{16}{6}{19}{0}" He starts to advance towards you... Message 157 The Mistress presses the button on his device and a ray hits you in the stomach. You suddenly find yourself swelling, first to Roseanne size, then to Bernard Manning size, and then finally you pop! Not a pretty sight... Message 158 It strikes him in the arm Message 159 but has little effect! Message 160 and he staggers about for a while moaning about the unfairness of life in a computer game, then drops dead. Message 161 The dart now has a poisoned tip. Message 162 It's a piece of Chopin music and is in the key C major. Message 163 It's above the stomach... apologies! It is made of wood and has a keyhole in its lid. Message 164 They are green adventuring tights not really suitable for fat halflings. Message 165 The Warg snarls and attacks you. Your cries of "{16}{3}{19}{1}Arrgh!{19}{0}{16}{6}" seem not to help towards calming him down and you're soon dead. I'm so sorry... honest! Message 166 ^{7}Thoran sits down and starts singing about gold but soon gets bored and changes to the new single from Megadeth instead. Message 167 He thanks you, turns to the little orb and sits watching the '{16}{3}{19}{1}National Elf Service{16}{6}{19}{0}' news. Without even glancing up he give you a piece of sheet music. Message 168 It appears that the ring renders its user stupid. As you are already stupid it renders you invisible to Wargs, which is pretty coincidental isn't it! Message 169 While attempting to cause as little damage as possible to the sand-castles you dig in the sand. Minutes later you find a heavy chest. Message 170 As playtesters are always after free games, the playtester is overjoyed and gives you an orb. He says, "{16}{4}{19}{1}I couldn't get it to work. Maybe you can!{16}{6}{19}{0}". Message 171 Using the key from the sheet you unlock and open the chest. Inside is a pair of tights and a crystal. Message 172 You try to pull them onto your fat legs but, in the process of doing so, ladder them. You quickly take them off again so as not to damage them even more. Message 173 Message 174 It's an ordinary key! -------------------------------------------------------------------------- SYSTEM MESSAGES --------------- System Message 0 It is made of gold and is magical. System Message 63 ^{7}The frog hops north.^{7} System Message 64 ^{7}The frog hops off to the south.^{7} System Message 65 ^{7}{16}{6}The frog arrives.^{7} System Message 66 You manage to grab hold of the slimy frog.^{7} System Message 67 A type of TV for elves. System Message 68 System Message 69 Nothing happens.^{7} System Message 70 It reads, "{16}{4}{19}{1}You'll be alright if you take the pun involving Jim Morrison's band the right way.{16}{6}{19}{0}" System Message 71 In the midst of this pandemonium stands a Frenchman in a {16}{2}{19}{1}red{16}{5}{19}{0} coat who seems preoccupied with attempting to slice through his hands using what looks like a harp made up of lasers. System Message 72 A Frenchman in a {16}{2}{19}{1}red{16}{5}{19}{0} coat is here. System Message 73 You can escape north if you wish. System Message 74 ^{7}{16}{5}Dodging quickly you avoid having anything vital fried off by the lasers that constantly whirl around the room.^{7} System Message 75 {16}{2}{19}{1}{148}{148}{148}{148}{148}{148}{148}{148}{148}^{7}{16}{3}GAME OVER^{7}{16}{2}{149}{149}{149}{149}{149}{149}{149}{149}{149}^{7}^{7} System Message 76 The operator asks...^{7}{16}{4}"What service do you require?"^{7} System Message 77 ^{7}{16}{6}With a loud noise which resembles a raspberry three men enter the room. System Message 78 One is fat and carries a book marked, '{16}{3}{19}{1}Harry's guide to getting a knighthood{16}{6}{19}{0}'. The other two are both thin. The taller of them wears glasses and seems to be carrying several sets of car keys, while the shorter one sports a beard and is writing limericks.^{7} System Message 79 ^{7}{16}{6}After a brief pause, during which the trio break out into a frenzy of gibberish, they leave riding on bagpipes to the System Message 80 east.^{7} System Message 81 west.^{7} System Message 82 ^{7}{16}{6}The 'Goons' are here.^{7} System Message 83 ^{7}You notice that one of them has dropped some keys.^{7} System Message 84 Behind the stall, a rather shady character appears to have packed his bags ready to leave. System Message 85 They are full of water at the moment. System Message 86 The burglar alarm goes off! You are blasted by the alarm which plays "{16}{3}{19}{1}New Kids On The Block{16}{6}{19}{0}' at full blast! Oh no!! You hastily close the door and peace is restored. System Message 87 , while a hole leads west through the wall. System Message 88 The Mistress is lying dead on the floor. System Message 89 ^{7}You hear a ring at the door.^{7} System Message 90 You get the ring which you heard at the door.^{7} System Message 91 You carefully climb up the ladder in the tights and pop out of the window. You find yourself in a long corridor. You see a sign which reads '{16}{3}{19}{1}Well Done! You've Completed The Hoppit{16}{6}{19}{0}'. A man comes up to you, hits you in the stomach, takes all of your game objects and says, "{16}{4}{19}{1}Now clear off!{16}{6}{19}{0}". System Message 92 They are laddered. System Message 93 . -------------------------------------------------------------------------- LOCATIONS --------- Location 0 Location 1 {16}{5}You find yourself in a small alleyway west of the main entrance to the exhibition centre. A slow steady beat, caused by the dripping drain-pipe to your left, reaches your ears and holds onto them. Location 2 {16}{5}You are standing before the huge form of '{16}{3}{19}{1}Sir Clive's Exhibition Complex{19}{0}{16}{5}'. Posters advertising the microfair and numerous other exhibitions cover the building, including several windows. To the north lies the main door, to the east and west lie two alleyways. A guard stands next to the main entrance. Location 3 {16}{5}As you enter this location a vile stench overpowers you and you wonder if you should have changed your socks. Such blasphemous thoughts are wiped from your mind as you correctly locate the source of the smell. It's coming from a tramp sitting in a corner. Location 4 {16}{5}This is the reception. Along the wall runs a pale blue border, while bright pink carpet jogs from one end of the room to the other. A large sign proclaims the '{16}{3}{19}{1}Lift out of order{19}{0}{16}{5}' while a slightly smaller, embarrassed-looking sign mentions that the stairs are still under construction. The main hallway lies to the north. Location 5 {16}{5}You are standing in the main hallway which is tastelessly painted in that awful {16}{4}green{16}{5} colour usually reserved for council facilities and schools. The hallway continues north, while the reception is to the south. A sign here reads as follows, "{16}{3}{19}{1}Level One:- Computer Exhibits, Music Exhibition, Refrectory, Recreational Lounge, Gallery, Library.{16}{5}{19}{0}". Location 6 {16}{5}You have obviously entered a room where some sort of musical demonstration is in progress. Huge sculptures walk about and several people in {16}{2}{19}{1}red{16}{5}{19}{0} baseball caps are playing in a steel band. Location 7 {16}{5}In this section of the hallway you are faced with a choice - You can go on to the north, or go to the east. While making this major decision I'll subtly mention a telephone perched on the wall here. Location 8 {16}{5}You appear to have found some of the computer show stalls. Before you lies a tatty {16}{2}{19}{1}red{16}{5}{19}{0} sign held up by string and forced to hang lopsided by the weight of a small wombat who is soundly asleep. The sign reads '{16}{3}{19}{1}Your Sinklair Adventures{19}{0}{16}{5}', pasted on the lower half is a mini poster which read, '{16}{3}{19}{1}Under New Management{16}{5}{19}{0}'. Location 9 {16}{5}This is the stall belonging to ^{7}'{16}{3}{19}{1}Delbert The Hamster Software{19}{0}{16}{5}'. No one appears to have turned up and it's empty. Pinned to the top of the main sign Location 10 {16}{5}You are behind the '{16}{3}{19}{1}DTH{19}{0}{16}{5}' stall. To your left is a packing case with a large door in the centre of it. Stickers all over the case read '{16}{3}{19}{1}No admittance. Playtesters only!{19}{0}{16}{5}'. Location 11 {16}{5}This is a further extension of the main hallway, intrepid explorers can go north or south. Location 12 {16}{5}You are in a small room which looks as though the painter who decorated it was having a stroke at the time. Splashes of yellow, pink and orange blend together. Location 13 {16}{5}You are in a corridor that leads from east to west and surprisingly from west to east as well. Location 14 {16}{5}The T-junction here allows you to go to the east or the west, and also south. Location 15 {16}{5}Smoke and fumes waft around your face here in the dragon's den. The dragon's treasure is here but on closer examination it consists mainly of imitation trinkets - the dragon must have been going blind in his old age! Location 16 {16}{5}This small corridor leads to the east. To the west, smoke drifts around. Location 17 {16}{5}You find yourself standing before the '{16}{3}{19}{1}Kasio Calculators (UK) Ltd{16}{5}{19}{0}' stall. A central podium has pride of place, and is illuminated by several spotlights. Another stall lies to the north, while to the west is a small corridor. Location 18 {16}{5}This is one of the complex's many recreation rooms, you'll find that those on the ground floor are aimed at the more lethargic punters. This is the TV room. If you're feeling energetic, you could stroll north or south. Location 19 {16}{5}This is the '{16}{3}{19}{1}Hoosey and Bawkes{16}{5}{19}{0}' music stall. Location 20 {16}{5}You are standing in the middle of a grassy plain, which comes as a bit of a shock as you're meant to be inside an exhibition complex. Bending down you read a small label attached to the grass...'{16}{3}{19}{1}This location is supplied courtesy of Sydney Castle Software Ltd - Hobbits and Halflings a speciality.{16}{5}{19}{0}' Exits to the north, east and south lead to slightly more conventional rooms. Location 21 {16}{5}Whatever you expected to see in this location, it was not the giant '{16}{3}{19}{1}Coffee for two{16}{5}{19}{0}' machine which covers nearly the entire east wall. There are exits to the north and west Location 22 {16}{5}You find yourself inside a large white room. Round tiles cover the walls, while in the centre is a large control console, also round, with a raised bit in it's centre. If you were an intergalactic explorer you would recognize this as being the main control room of a {16}{7}{19}{1}T{19}{0}{16}{5}ot{19}{1}{16}{7}A{16}{5}{19}{0}lly {16}{7}{19}{1}R{16}{5}{19}{0}andom {16}{7}{19}{1}DI{16}{5}{19}{0}rection of {16}{7}{19}{1}T{16}{5}{19}{0}ravel machine, but as you aren't - you don't. You can leave by going west.^{7}The Dentist is here. Location 23 {16}{5}You are standing outside a shop. Large public health warning stickers cover most of the placard which proclaims this as being '{16}{3}{19}{1}Bishop's Bistro{16}{5}{19}{0}', though in reality it's little more than a stand-up coffee shop. A counter is on the east side of the room. You can go north or south if you're in the mood. Location 24 {16}{5}This is the kitchen of '{16}{3}{19}{1}Bishop's Bistro{16}{5}{19}{0}'. There is a dirty oven here and a large metal cupboard marked with the skull and crossbones. Location 25 {16}{5}You have entered a large room with a high ceiling which is probably why the giant, currently sitting in one corner of the room, has chosen it for his lodging. Location 26 {16}{5}This is one of the many recreation rooms the designers have seen fit to add. The main section of this room is taken up by a card-table around which several of the less influential magazine reviewers sit drinking beer and playing cards. There is also a dartboard hanging lopsidedly on the wall. Exits lead north, south and west. Location 27 {16}{5}This room is occupied by the ^{7}'{16}{3}{19}{1}National Water Companies{16}{5}{19}{0}' technology exhibit. It's a new method of water supply, a deep hole in the ground surrounded by bricks in a circular wall shape. You might well say that it's a little familiar and you could well be right. There are more technological wonders (called doors) to the south and north. Location 28 {16}{5}You find yourself in a room with a Skoda in the middle of it. The Skoda has a sun-roof and if this was a lesser game I'd make some awful joke about it - but I'm going to skip over that and tell you that the exits lie to the east and south. Location 29 {16}{5}You've obviously entered some sort of art gallery. You can see paintings around the room and you glance appreciatively at them. You do feel, however, that the 8 inch thick bullet-proof glass in front of them does spoil it slightly. Exits lie to the west or the north. Location 30 {16}{5}You've just entered what appears to be a large forest. Yes, to cut down on time and effort Delbert and I decided to lob another one of our pre-designed locations into the game. Oh, don't try climbing any of these trees - you can't, so there.^{7}What you can do, however, is go to the north or to the south. Location 31 {16}{5}Before you, to the north, lies a dark tunnel. Notice the word 'dark'. If you go in there without a light source, you're obviously daft. Mind you, you've gotta be daft to be playing this, so... Location 32 {16}{5}This is the southern bank of a somewhat strange river that chooses to flow through Sir Clive's exhibition centre. The only exit lies to the south (and if you believe that then you'd better give up adventuring!). Location 33 {16}{5}Just when you thought that this game was getting sensible, you find yourself in a room which is filled entirely by a large teapot. The way out of the room is to the east. Location 34 {16}{5}This is a small chamber, exits lie to the east and west. Location 35 {16}{5}This is Sir CLive's personal library. It's filled with books like '{16}{3}{19}{1}How not to succeed in business{16}{5}{19}{0}','{16}{3}{19}{1}The guide to being bankrupt{16}{5}{19}{0}' and '{16}{3}{19}{1}Producing rubber-keyed beer mats as serious education tools{16}{5}{19}{0}'. There is a large armchair here and plenty of books. The main door leads east Location 36 {16}{5}You are standing before the entrance to the '{16}{3}{19}{1}Sinklair ^{7}Library{16}{5}{19}{0}'. A small sign proclaims the library for the use of people who belong to clubs named after Latin furniture, like tables. An even smaller sign adds, '{16}{3}{19}{1}People with a 3 figure IQ only{16}{5}{19}{0}'. You can go south. Someone brainier could go west. Location 37 {16}{5}A better game than this would give the location description as follows,^{7}'{16}{4}{19}{1}You are in a forest. There is a large tree here{16}{5}{19}{0}', but I'll simply say,^{7}'{16}{4}{19}{1}This is a forest.{16}{5}{19}{0}'^{7}You can go south. Location 38 {16}{5}This is the {16}{7}{19}{1}TARDIT{16}{5}{19}{0} belonging to the Mistress. As it's nearly exactly the same as the Dentists TARDIT I won't go into great detail except to mention that it's black and has a control console bang in the centre. It appears the only direction of travel possible is to climb up, back through the lid. Location 39 {16}{5}You are up a tree. Directly opposite you is a cash machine which belongs to a local branch of a slightly deaf bank. Location 40 {16}{5}This is the northen bank of the River...erm.. the River Clive. There is another forest to the north. Location 41 {2}{16}{7}You find yourself in a rather familiar dungeon. High above you on the wall is a window. To the north, northeast and east lie further parts of the dungeon. Thoran the dwarf is here. Location 42 {2}{16}{7}You are near a door in the dungeon wall. There is an elf here who answers to the name of Edmond. The other dungeon locations are to the south, southeast and east. Location 43 {2}{16}{7}This part of the dungeon is inhabited by a rather nasty Warg. Exits lie to the west, south and southwest. Location 44 {2}{16}{7}In this section of the dungeon you are surrounded by small sand-castles which are being built by a playtester who seems to be in residence here. You can go north, northwest or west.
