It has a very professional look with stunning graphics, and a lot better than some commercial adventures, those who have seen it say that it reminds them of Lord Of The Rings. You play the part of a prince of the realm, who awakes to find the Kingdom in chaos and that your father the King has been taken captive. It is your job to to rescue him and restore peace. Travel the land in search of your father. On the way you will meet some friends and many foes. - The adventure takes up all of the disc. Some people may experience some loading difficulties. However I have never found any trouble with it on my 6128 or 464. CACODEMON - Many aeons ago, when the world was still in darkness there lived a beast and this beast was called the Cacodemon. For thousands of years the savage that was man battles against the beast, to no avail. Then man found the power of the black arts and banished the beast to the tower of Blackraven, where it was chained and bound to live out the rest of eternity. But all this happened thousands of years in the past, and until now it was thought just to be a legend. But an old book was found in the kings library, which states that in the castle would be found and the cacodemon released from his imprisonment. The ring would keep the Cacodemon under the control of the wearer. The book also speaks of the future when during the reign of King Vellmore (your present monarch) an army from across the blue divide will come to lay claim King Vellmore's land. Well king being a bit funny about things like that orders that the enterance be found and a brave and heroic person be sent through to return with the ring and the cacodemon, that brave and heroic person being you. After a few days of constant searching the mystic enterance ids found and without any hestitation you are thrown through the portal and arrive in a strange land. After receiving a phone call, you decide to go and investigate. The plot does not make itself very clear, but it is quite a challenge to complete it. No One seems to know who the author is, so can you help ? Many people lived on the great mountain turned into a death zone the sky exploded and the earth split, killing thousands. Tribes believed it was caused by the God and very few dared to go back, which is why Storm Mountain, as it's now known, is still full of the Crown of Tridon which has been lost for many hundreds of years. Planets went to war over it. Unfortunately during the great inter-galactic war of 4065 the co-ordinates ofthe planet Danthor - the only known source of Mithrillium - were lost. Now the last few surviving mithrillium crystals are jealously guarded by their owners and each small crystal is worth the price of a planet. For the ordinary citizens of the galaxy Mithrillium has become no more than a myth. Tales are still sometimes told by wild eyed travellers who claim to have seen Mithrillium or to have found the legendary planet Danthor only to be driven off by the savage Danthor-wolves - huge vicious creatures which are said to guard the precious crystals. Some years ago a dying alien told you of an old hermit living on the planet Arielm who just might know the co-ordinates of Danthor. Since then you have been saving all your money until at last you have enough cash to buy a spaceship. Your ship - The Starchaser -isn't exactly a luxurious space-yacht, but she will get you from one planet to another (just about). Very simular to Castle Master with the use of Freescape. You have to collect six treasures. It sounds simple but it isn't!!! You can read up on it in issue 40 page 16 (Jan. 1989). HOUSE OUT OF TOWN - Being a solicitor is not without it's problems, one of the most difficult tasks to befall you in your proffession is the organising of wills. You play the part of Mr PArker, quite experienced in your trade, and who recently was asked to sort out the last will and testament of a Mr Dickens. The only problem is the whereabouts of said will, rumour has it that it is hidden somewhere in the late Mr Dicken's house that lies out of town. ROUGE MIDGET - A take off from Red Dwarf, you play the lowly scutter aboard the corporation mining ship, the Rouge Midget. Playing interstella chess one night with Holly (the ships computer), he let's slip that the ship is due to collide with an asteriod belt in a couple of days leading to certain death for all. He has omitted to tell the remaining lifeforms aboard as he doesn't want anybody to shout at him. You must find a way to escape from the ship and find Scutter heaven, a local planet where humans serve scutters. Written by Simon Avery. SEARCH FOR LARGO GRANN - An alien friend of yours, Largo Grann, has absconded with the DUVILUSQUANTUM THRUSTING DEVICE, the galatic committee has declared Largo "Wanted" under the crime theft act. LOST SHADOW - You must take the role of the great professor in the small town of Centerly. You were trying to perfect one of the desired wants by humans, to become invisible. As you prepared your final solution, you drank a little to see its effects. You instantly become invisible! But, you discover it also does something else - it makes you totally mad! You storm through your science lab smashing bottles of chemicals and damaging apparatus. It isn't long before you set fire to the lab, with the solution to return you to normal inside! Eventually you calm down and rest a safe distance from the burning building. But there is still one major problem, you're invisible! And that's how you will remain for the rest of your life unless you do something about it. There is one hope now, the ingredients were in your pocket, only they must have fallen out when you were mad. However, there is still a good chance that the list is near by. You must get the list of ingredients and then search for them to make a solution. The aliens didn't like the look of you so they hit you over the head with a steel bar, while you were unconscious an asteroid hit the spaceship and badly damaged it, so much so that they had to escape in a space pod. Your task is to find the one remaining space pod, and escape the ship.
