HINTS AND TIPS We'll try to give some help with any games we publish, one issue later, so you're not tempted to have a quick look. Other than the games we publish, would anyone like help for other games? We haven't tried compiling pile of solutions yet, as it would involve a lot of work, but we may be able to search out some solutions. Failing that, we can always print your pleas for help. BEHIND CLOSED DOORS - Part One This game is quite small, and simply giving the solution would take much of the fun out of the game. As it's only a one- location adventure, you've no need to worry about directions and mapping. I think that the best advice with this game is to examine just about everything you find. By examining things, you should find even more items. If you want to examine the walls, type EXAMINE LEFT or RIGHT. Other thing worth examining, or reading, include GAZZETTE (Try fold/unfold/roll), PAPER, PENCIL, DOOR, BOWL, CISTERN, CHAIN, KEYHOLE and anything else you find. Once you have adopted the habit of examining every item you find, you should find most adventures will yield more results. Always type I, or INVENTORY, to find out what you have, or are wearing, as it's annoying trying to find a match in a game when you already have one! In the BEHIND CLOSED DOORS games, it is often of benefit to do the crossword in the (mis-spelt) Gazzette. The occasional crude word evokes some interesting responses. When you've completed the game, you are given a few words which can be entered when you re-play the game, which are interesting.
